Dulce Luz de Reyes
An ephemeral lighting installation for the art-deco Farmacia Puigoriol in Barcelona, inspired by Día de los Reyes; upturned gold umbrellas, handmade gumdrops, and fairy lights held in structural tension.
Space Design
A lighting design for the art-deco styled pharmacy March Puigoriol located in Barcelona, related to the Spanish Christmas tradition, Día de los Reyes.
Festivities and celebration were the first words that inspired our concept, Gumdrops of Joy. We then incorporated the tradition of Día de los Reyes, where celebrators upturn their umbrellas in hopes of catching candies. The ephemeral installation at Farmacia Puigoriol consists of upturned gold umbrellas, handmade gumdrops, and fairy lights, all hung and held by structural tension.
